Wow, when it rains it pours. here at Get Schooled School Portraiture we are so excited, it’s seems as the flowers start to bloom and the weather warms up the phone starts to ring and we are booking! Schools have called out of the blue off of just one mailer we sent and we feel blessed! On our private blog we list weekly, sometimes bi monthly, to do lists, in our studio we have followed right along. It is basically our yearly plan and we share it with you, encourage and guide. The private blog is a continuation of education, a place for me to inspire you, tell you step by step what to do and when, a question and answer avenue and much more! I have enjoyed getting to know many of the Get Schoolers on our private blog and forum. Another place that is near and dear to my heart is Clickin Moms. This forum is a subscription based forum and let me tell you, it is an uplifting place. Many times in an industry with so much online prescence forums can get ugly, down right mean and super intimidating! Clickin Moms is the OPPOSITE of that [oh and don't let the name fool you, you don't have to be a mom nor female to get involved] I love the sense of community, of sharing. It is a NO FEAR place, meaning when just starting out with your business or wanting to learn a new genre/technique ask away. Questions aren’t laughed at or met with snarky answers! I love it.
