If you have any interest at all in school photography, buy the Lunch Box. I did a preschool in February and had I read this first I’m certain I could have doubled what I made.
Her workflow is stellar and her ideas for marketing yourself, getting the parents involved, and delivery are rock solid.
She even shows you step by step how to set up Studiocloud a free (ahem, yes I said free) client management database.
The Stinky Cheese book is A. Dorable. I can’t wait to have one of my teachers translate it into Spanish for next year! Deji Queso!
I have not gotten to the templates for marketing but I’ve seen a little in the PDF and I’m confident that they will be of the same caliber as the rest of the materials.
If there are still 40% offs to be had! Go get em’ even at full pop I wholeheartedly believe this is worth it!

I don’t have time to go through everything right now, but I have to say I am impressed. I scoured CM and google searches looking for reviews, but I didn’t come up with anything. I downloaded anyway, and W.O.W. I’m a teacher (who’s going to turn SAHM) next year. I want to break into our local daycares and private schools, but they all already have someone else. I’ve spent plenty of nights lying awake in bed brainstorming how I should go about “challenging” the current photographers. Get Schooled provides EVERYTHING I need and more. I cannot imagine any director turning this package away. She even gives prop set up, posing ideas, some lighting ideas, package ideas, presentation of packages, reminders for photo day…ideas for the faculty and staff members who help out on photo day. It is a COMPLETE guide. I can’t imagine the amount of time that went into this. She has done all the work perfecting the process and laid it all out for us.
I also have to say as a teacher…this is soooooo organized. I mean, think about it…you could photograph hundreds of kids…that’s a lot to organize. GS gives you a step-by-step (and I mean step-by-step) how to.
Have I said that I’m impressed? There might be a few 40% off coupons left, but this is TRULY worth full price. Plus, you get access to a private blog with even more info! I think (once more CMs jump on the wagon) GS is gonna be as big as Easy as Pie.
